Spray Application
The components are assembled onto jigs ready for spraying. Only one application is necessary to build up a coating of 8-10 microns all over the component, which is cured at 180-210 celsius for 15-20 min.
Dip Spin Application
This method is ideal for small components such as fasteners, spring clips etc. and involves the component being loaded into a centrifuge basket to a pre-determined weight and spun/tilted/spun at pre-determined speeds and times to achieve a uniform coverage of the component.
Processed work is cured at 180 celsius for 15 - 20 mins. The process is then repeated to produce a double layer of material of 8-10 microns. This can be repeated to produce heavier deposits which also increases sat spray resistance accordingly.
After Treatments
To enhance the properties of this process, it is possible to combine other coatings such as Delta Seal or Dorrltech B17 which increases Salt Spray resistance and/or colour to the Delta Tone system.
